A new printmaking festival showcasing the work of printmakers throughout the region and beyond is set to launch at Wolverhampton's Newhampton Arts Centre later this year.

The 3-day Print Fest Wolverhampton aims to celebrate printmaking in all its forms, showcasing handmade original prints from both professional and hobbyist printmakers, and will be taking place Friday 8 until Sunday 10 November 2024.

The festival will launch on Friday 8 November at Newhampton Art Centre with music, meet the artist and printmaking demonstrations. The exhibition will provide an opportunity for visitors to buy affordable, original art from local artists.

Applications are now open for printmakers looking to exhibit their work. There are stands available for those who have multiple prints and a prize exhibition for individual pieces. Click on the link for an application form and further details. claresherwen.com/printfestwolverhampton
