Leamington Spa’s much-loved Christmas Tree Festival returns to All Saints’ Parish Church this December - bigger, brighter, and more community-focused than ever. The festival opens on Sunday 30 November at 1pm, with a day of music, Morris dancing and mince pies, plus a free drop-in family workshop where visitors can craft their own decoration and hang it on the Community Tree.
This year’s creative workshops are made possible through the support of Art Friends Warwickshire, who have also sponsored artist Libby Elser from Artlab to deliver decoration-making sessions in five local schools.
Over the week, visitors can explore 60 beautifully decorated trees, each one created by local businesses, charities, schools and community groups, transforming the church into a glittering forest of creativity and Christmas spirit. Festivalgoers can vote for their favourite tree in the popular Brewers People’s Choice Awards with Gold, Silver and Bronze rosettes and awards are up for grabs, with the winners getting a voucher from Sukhi Eyes. All are invited to take a quiet moment at the Tree of Remembrance, kindly donated by the Leamington Rotary Club. There’s also a children’s activity trail, sponsored by Explore Learning, and a Pop-Up Christmas Gift Fair on Saturday 6 December.
The festival’s chosen charity for 2025 is Flourish, who support the self-esteem and wellbeing of girls and young women across Warwickshire. “This is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of our work and connect with new supporters,” said Jenny Dean, CEO of Flourish. “We’ll be running a special raffle throughout the festival to help fund our mentoring programmes and support for girls in the local community."
Event sponsor Stagecoach added: “We’re delighted to be supporting this wonderful community celebration and encourage everyone to come along and travel sustainably where they can.”
The Leamington Christmas Tree Festival runs from Sunday 30 November to Sunday 7 December at All Saints’ Parish Church, with late-night opening on Thursday 4 December.
