Five of the very best emerging comedy acts from the West Midlands are in the running for the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2025.
Featuring performances from sketch duo BAB, and stand-up comedians Abbie Edwards, Abbie Hale, Harry Jenkins and Ryan S Lewis, plus a special guest, the award is the region's biggest comedy prize.
Previous winners have included such now established names as Josh Pugh and Celya AB.
A chance to see the next generation of West Mids comics as they're set to break through, the event officially opens this year's festival, which boasts over 90 shows including appearances from Inside No9, Joe Lycett, Babatunde Aléshé, Gary Delaney, and more.
