Tudor Encounters: 490 Years Since the Royal Visit

Step back in time and experience the splendour of Tudor England as Sudeley Castle commemorates 490 years since the historic visit of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.

For two days, the castle grounds will come alive with costumed historic re-enactors portraying Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, Thomas Cromwell, and ladies of the royal court. Walk the very paths they once did, and engage in lively conservation as history comes vividly to life around you.

Don't miss this change to relive a royal moment in history!

  • Live re-enactments and roaming performances throughout the two days
  • Interactive historical encounters with Tudor Figures
