Countrytastic is a popular family day out packed with farmyard fun and a host of indoor and outdoor activities celebrating farming and the countryside.

Attractions include Livestock Ring Educational Demos where you can learn about farmyard animals and their friends; tractor and trailer rides across the showground; interactive farmshop experience and new for 2026, the cosy play cafe - the perfect spot for children to play.

Potato digging, youngstock agricultural education activites, vintage and modern farm machinery displays, arts and crafts zone, hobby horse area, digger play zone and gardening activities, also feature.

Special guests announced for 2026 include children's favourites Peppa Pig and Peter Rabbit - both of whom will be meeting and greeting visitors around the showground. Jumping with Ivy will showcase her skills in an exciting display that promises to impress horse lovers and families alike whilst TV personality and fourth-generation farmer, Ally Hunter Blair,  will share stories and know how in the Muddy Boots Theatre.
