Showcasing visual art works created by children and young people, the annual Young Voices New Visions exhibition at Worcester Cathedral will return for 2023, with entries now open.

The exhibition is open to all schools and community groups in Worcestershire who work with children and young people between the ages of 5 - 18. Work can include individual entries or group work and can be in any visual art medium, with large-scale and 3D work is particularly welcome.

The theme for the 2023 exhibition is Time. Below are some ideas that could be used to provoke group discussion and inspire artwork around this broad theme:

  • a memorable experience
  • a point in history
  • what does the future look like to you?
  • the passage of time, or times of change

A theme has been chosen for the exhibition to unify artworks that are submitted by different schools and community groups across Worcestershire.

If your school/group would like to submit an entry or entries into the exhibition, applications must be filled in by 5pm on Monday 3 April 2023.

The Exhibition will be open to the public from Sunday 28 May until Sunday 2 July 2023.  For more information, including exhibiting forms, visit severnarts.org.uk or contact Jason Jones at j.jones@severnarts.org.uk
