Historic estate Coughton Court in Alcester has launched a major sculpture exhibition for the first time. Running until Sunday 31 May, Coughton Court’s sculpture trail has been created in partnership with Oxford Sculptors Group and features more than 67 pieces from established artists.
Visitors to the estate can wander through the gardens and historic stableyard where a carefully curated collection of sculptures are on display. From striking statement pieces nestled amongst the blooms to hidden surprises, the trail offers something for art lovers, families and anyone looking for a unique day out.
The artists showcasing their works are Arabella Nock, Henrietta Bud, Marie Shepherd, Michele Greene, Paul Whitehouse, Peter Murphy, Richard John Cresswell, Victoria Hunt, Andrew Binnie, Pene Cairns, and Nicholas Bale. All artworks on display are also available to purchase.
Coughton Court is open all year round from Wednesday to Sunday, 9am - 4.30pm. Tickets are £15.50 for adults (16+), £6.50 for children (under 5s are free), and £14 for concessions (60+) and students. Entry to the Sculpture Trail is included with all valid house and garden tickets.
