On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, from 10am to 5pm, visitors can explore the best of the region’s food and drink, enjoy live demonstrations from top TV chefs, and take part in activities for the whole family.
Joining the cookery theatre line-up on Saturday 25 July is one of the country’s most popular duos, John Torode and Lisa Faulkner. Their work spans cookery books, TV shows, a YouTube channel, Brand Partnerships and Live Events. The couple’s inaugural bestselling cookery book – John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen was published in 2024 and was shortly followed by their ITV series, John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, now in its ninth season.
John & Lisa’s second book, John & Lisa’s Weeknight Meals will be published in September 2026, the heart of the cookery book retains the authority of a professional chef with the accessibility of a home cook serving up truly delicious recipes. Their new YouTube channel featuring approachable recipes and inspired hacks was an instant hit– John & Lisa’s Kitchen & Home quickly gained over 13k subscribers and over 360k views.
One of the world’s finest master chocolatiers Paul A Young will also be joining the cookery theatre roster on Saturday, showcasing his creative flavour combinations and approachable way of making chocolate part of anyone’s cooking repertoire. Hailing from Yorkshire, Paul gained his first head chef role at Alice Blossom’s restaurant, Whitby in 1994 aged 21 and in 1996 Paul was offered a role as pastry chef at Marco Pierre Whites Criterion Brasserie in London’s Piccadilly.
Paul has graced our screens, appearing on This Morning, Alan Titchmarsh, Sunday Brunch, Saturday Kitchen, The Apprentice, Top Chef US to name a few. Paul has four books, Adventures with Chocolate, Sensational Chocolate, How to Make Chocolates and The Joy of Chocolate. Paul now based in Stone, Staffordshire has opened his dedicated school of chocolate called Chocolate At Home to train and educate the art of hand making chocolates.
Also gracing the stage on Saturday will be Italian chef and Influencer Francesco Mattana. Francesco was born and raised on the island of Sardinia, in the south of Italy. He has built an incredible following on his social media platforms, with over 2.2M followers across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube as Our Cookery Journey. He shares his vast culinary expertise and passion, inspiring followers of all skill levels to step into the kitchen and start cooking. Francesco is also a strong advocate for sustainable eating and minimising food waste, a value instilled in him through his Sardinian upbringing, where every part of an ingredient is put to good use.
As well as an incredible roster of TV chefs there will be the very best of the region’s food and drink scene, featuring local producers, and a wide variety of exciting and fun activities for the whole family.
A host of street food traders will entice and excite your tastebuds, pop-up bars to quench your thirst and try new artisan beverages. The Beautiful Things marquee showcases local gifts, crafts, and homewares.
