KEMP Hospice will once again host a Butterfly Memory Release at Bodenham Arboretum, to celebrate and remember loved ones.

Taking place this year on Saturday 9 September, people are offered the opportunity to dedicate and release their own Painted Lady Butterfly, and watch it take flight as it’s released and comes to rest in the beautiful, butterfly-friendly grounds of the Arboretum.

The dedicated butterfly will be released collectively, creating a beautiful display that will provide a genuinely poignant way to remember someone who was special in your life, and share the moment with other families and individuals from across the Wyre Forest.

KEMP Hospice has been providing valuable care and support to people across the Wyre Forest, affected by a life-limiting illness, for over 50 years. Giving end-of-life care, counselling, and emotional support free of charge to adults facing a life-limiting illness, their families, and carers for as long they need it.

The suggested donation is £30 (this includes your Painted Lady Butterfly, your loved one’s name added to the online butterfly meadow, and one free entry into Bodenham Arboretum). You can donate and dedicate a butterfly at kemphospice.org.uk/butterfly.
