The award-winning Kidderminster restaurant The Chaddesley will host a pop-up BBQ event this month.

The Chaddesley’s one-off BBQ takes place on Sunday 11 June and promises to set the taste buds tingling with a line-up including local butchers beef sirloin, spiced and roasted lamb and marinated chicken.

The restaurant, which is based at Brockencote Hall Hotel, has also launched its new lounge menu which re-introduces its popular sharing boards for the first time in three years.

Ideal for lunch and casual dining, sharing board options include a mezze platter, a fish salad medley, the very best local Worcestershire cheeses, as well as traditional pub classics including cider battered fish of the day, a gourmet beef burger, and an array of delicious sandwiches.

The new offering coincides with the appointment of The Chaddesley’s new restaurant team, with Maura McGoldrick joining as Restaurant Manager and Luke Creswell arriving as new Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Jack Hartshorne, General Manager at the hotel, which is based off the Kidderminster Road in Chaddesley Corbett, said: “This time of the year is always a busy period for us as we move towards the summer months and dining on the terrace, so it’s the perfect time to introduce our new lounge menu which is ideal for a casual lunch – and we’re hoping for a great day at our summer BBQ this year too.

“We’re also really pleased to welcome Maura and Luke to the restaurant team to help drive the continued high standards of service at The Chaddesley that diners have come to know us for when they visit.”

The Chaddesley holds 3 AA Rosettes and offers award-winning fine dining, sourcing local produce including from its own Kitchen Gardens to create contemporary dishes on its seasonal menus.

It is part of Brockencote Hall Hotel and owned by The Eden Hotel Collection – a group of award-winning luxury hotels in the UK – with the hotel providing 21 luxurious bedrooms in the main house with views of its 70 acres of parkland, as well as a recently-opened three-bedroom Lodge.

The new lounge menu is available Thursday to Saturday between noon and 2pm, as well as Wednesday to Sunday between 6pm and 8.30pm.
