Beer lovers from across the region are being invited to raise a glass as the Worcester Beer, Cider and Perry Festival returns to Worcester Racecourse this August.

Taking place from Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 August at the Racecourse Grandstand, the popular CAMRA-organised festival promises three days of quality drinks, live entertainment and great food in the heart of the city.

Organised by volunteers from the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the festival will showcase more than 100 beers, ciders and perries from local and national producers, alongside fruit wines, grape wines and prosecco. Visitors will also be able to enjoy food vendors, live music performances and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

This year's event will feature a special focus on strong ales, with the festival hosting the CAMRA Regional Strong Ale and Barley Wine Competition. Festival-goers can also sample two exclusive festival ales created in partnership with Ledbury Real Ales and Grinnbull Brewing.

The festival has become one of the largest CAMRA beer festivals in the West Midlands and continues to attract visitors keen to explore a diverse range of traditional and contemporary drinks. Alongside real ales, there will be more than 50 ciders and perries available, including a selection of fruit ciders from producers across several counties.

Opening times are midday to 11pm on Thursday and Friday, and midday to 10pm on Saturday. Advance tickets are available online, with CAMRA members eligible for discounted or free entry packages. The festival operates a cashless system, with card and contactless payments accepted throughout.
