Shakespeare’s famous tragedy is one of his most frequently produced plays, and why wouldn’t it be? A blood-curdling yarn recounting a cautionary tale of over-ambition, as Macbeth rises meteor-like to the throne of Scotland, the play is not only fast-paced but also appealingly short by the bard’s standards.
