Cally Beaton: Namaste Mother F*ckers

Cally Beaton is a comedian, podcaster, business entrepreneur and author. Her new show, Namaste Motherf*ckers, combines Cally’s comedic and storytelling prowess with extracts from her provocative, stereotype-busting book of the same name (published 31 July). The show has at its heart her own story of radical reinvention - from meetings in boardrooms to treading the boards, thanks to a chance conversation with the late, great Joan Rivers.

Cally first took to the stage as a 45-year-old single parent. She quickly cemented her position as one of the most exciting and distinctive stand-ups in the country, with her unflinching, acerbic and intelligent brand of comedy. She made her debut appearance on the BBC’s Live at the Apollo at the age of 53 and is a TV and radio fixture, including being a regular panellist on BBC2’s QI and The Apprentice: You’re Fired, as well as Pointless Celebrities, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Countdown Dictionary Corner. She is also popular with BBC Radio 4 audiences where her appearances include: The Now Show, The Unbelievable Truth, Saturday Live, Museum Of Curiosity, PM and Woman's Hour.
