John Barrowman has form when it comes to Christmas in the Midlands, having previously top-billed some of the region’s biggest pantomimes. By comparison with those previous stop-offs, his visit this month is decidedly low-profile - but that isn’t going to matter one jot to his legion of adoring fans. Camp As Christmas sees the one-time Torchwood star presenting an evening of festive favourites and showstopping tunes, all wrapped up with ‘plenty of glitz’.
