With FREE performances, exhibitions & activities for all ages
Worcester is set to celebrate a day of creativity on Saturday 27 June as the Severn Arts Summer Festival returns for its third year. From 10am to 4pm, a range of free musical performances, art exhibitions and family-friendly activities will take place across three city centre venues.
The Summer Festival brings local creativity and young talent. Musical Performances will run throughout the day at The Guildhall and in its courtyard, featuring Severn Arts youth bands and orchestras, as well as soloists and small groups. Additional performances will also take place at St Andrew’s Church from 11am.
In Cathedral Square, the Music Box bus will offer drop-in musical fun for all ages. Visitors can try out drum machines, electric guitars and DJ decks, or step into the vocal booth.
Many elements of the festival will be shaped and delivered by young people through the Festival Makers programme, giving them the opportunity to play an active role in bringing the event to life.
Admission to the Summer Festival is FREE and will be open from 10am to 4pm, and all are welcome to attend.
