Each week will feature a new craft activity to try and whether you drop in for a quick craft or spend the afternoon creating together, these relaxed sessions are the perfect way to keep little hands busy and imaginations buzzing throughout the summer break - and pop into the national sciences collection to explore Curious Creatures: Stones & Bones.
The gallery also hosts Youth Artists Holiday Clubs designed especially for creative 7 to 11 year olds, and featuring a full day of hands-on arts and crafts inspired by the current exhibitions.
Pastime Playtimes - running on monthly Saturdays throughout the year - brings back classic board and card games for all ages, where adults can reminisce about their childhood favourites and young ones can enjoy fun the old-fashioned way.

Draw a dinosaur and watch it animate across the wall, and strike the perfect prehistoric pose in the dressing up zone. Along the way, uncover clues, take on interactive challenges and build your own collection of discoveries...
Younger visitors can enter a sensory world inspired by the wonders of ocean life in Beneath The Waves. Dive into an immersive underwater world where children under 5 can explore coral reefs, playful sea creatures, swirling currents, and sparkling tidal pools.
