LINE UP festival of alternative music and experimental performances will return this month, taking place at Malvern Cube, on Saturday 25 October from 1pm - 10pm.

Now in its third year, the one-day festival, presented by Severn Arts and Malvern Hills District Council is an opportunity to discover new music. The festival showcases a range of different genres including alternative folk, spoken word and other experimental music.

Tickets cost £30 each and give access to the full day of performances.

Artists this year include Nadia Reid, Laura Cannell, Alison Cotton, Ayu Okakita, Sipho Eric Ndlovu, and Plastic Moonrise X Alex Kera.

Lee Farley, Community Arts Coordinator for Malvern Hills District Council and the festival’s organiser said: “We are very excited about this year’s programme. Since it’s launch in 2023, Line Up has continued to grow in popularity. Last year’s festival saw more than 200 music-lovers enjoy performances from over 12 acts, and we are hoping even more people will join us this year to celebrate this interesting and dynamic alternative music scene.”

Spoken word poet Sipho Eric Ndlovu, who performed at the festival last year and will be returning for 2025, has praised the event’s atmosphere saying: “I have found the audiences to be passionate and present, and as an artist, I was thrilled to match their energy. As Line Up celebrates its third year in 2025, I’m excited to discover all the new experiences it brings.”
