This annual event turns Cheltenham into a playground for curious minds by exploring the breakthroughs, questions and discoveries shaping our lives today and tomorrow.
Via a carefully curated panel of experts, visitors can expect to determine fact from fad and delve into what lies ahead in the next chapter of scientific discovery.
Free activities and events, street food, stalls, art and nature workshops and live music are on offer in the Festival Village. Once there you can head to the MakerShack to hone in on your crafting skills with expert makers, crafters, scientists and engineers. Over at the Discover Zone you can quiz scientists on their cutting-edge research whilst The Arcade invites you to get your game face on and put your skills to the test to find out what's next in the world of innovation, tech and cyber. Meanwhile, family fun, live music and cocktails are promised over at the Jetstream Free Stage.
Visitors can also discover the exciting world of aviation at the GE Aerospace Flight Deck by exploring products, engaging in STEM activities or taking the pilot's seat in a flight simulator.
Guest speakers at this year's festival include Dragon's Den star Deborah Meaden who will share her personal journey and Why Money Matters; Journalist and author Tim Marshall will join geopolitics and security expert Duncan Depledge to discuss The Battle for the Arctic; Josh Smalley and John Manley will take a deep dive into the science behind wine, and physicist Jeff Forshaw will explore the deepest puzzles in particle physics.
